I own several of the 840 series drives, and have not been disappointed by one of them. All of the drives have been reliable, and have greatly sped up the systems that I placed them in.

I used one of drives in a laptop- it has slightly extended battery life, and it’s great there are no moving parts. The drive has been in there for 6 months, no problems.

One of the drives is in a home theater pc. This computer is on 24/7, and works as a DVR. No issues on this computer and the drives been in that computer for over a year.

One is the main drive in a server that I maintain- again, 8 months of service, and has been restarted very little due to the reliability of this drive.
